| Duplicating of Objects | |||
| Objects can be duplicated using different methods. | |||
| Duplicate object with Duplicate command | |||
| • Select an object or objects. • Choose Edit > Duplicate. |

| Duplicate a selected object as you transform | |||
| During a transformation, do one of the following: | |||
| • In case of dragging with the Selection tool , the Rotate tool , the Scale tool , hold down Alt key when you drag. • Specifying a value in the Transform or Control panel and press Alt + Enter • When you press arrow keys to move objects, hold down Alt key. |

| Duplicate objects with Step and Repeat | |||
| Use the Step and Repeat command to instantly create duplicates. | |||
| 1. Select the object or objects. 2. Choose Edit > Step and Repeat. 3. Specify number of duplicates you want to make. 4. Specify the distance between the position of each new duplicate from the previous duplicate. 5. Click OK. |
